How we handle family and child information.

Maple & Sparrow Early Learning takes the privacy of the families and children we serve seriously, both online and in our day-to-day operations. This policy explains what information we collect through this website and during enrollment, and how we use and protect it.

Information we collect

Through this website, we collect only what you provide directly: your name, email, phone number, and any details you share when requesting a tour or joining the waitlist. We do not use third-party advertising trackers or sell any information collected here.

During enrollment, we collect additional information necessary to care for your child safely — emergency contacts, authorized pickup individuals, allergy and medical information, and immunization records — as required by provincial childcare licensing.

How we use it

Website inquiry information is used only to respond to your tour request or waitlist submission. Enrollment information is used to provide safe daily care, communicate with families, and meet our licensing and health-reporting obligations. We do not share child or family information with third parties except where required by law or necessary for emergency medical care.

How we protect it

Physical enrollment files are kept in a locked cabinet accessible only to authorized staff. Digital records are protected with access limited to staff who need them to do their jobs. Staff are trained on confidentiality expectations as part of onboarding.

Your choices

You can ask to review, correct, or request removal of your enrollment or inquiry information at any time by contacting us at hello@mapleandsparrow.ca or (403) 555-0148. Some information must be retained to meet provincial licensing recordkeeping requirements even after a child leaves the program.

Website forms

This website's tour and waitlist forms are part of a design preview and are not currently connected to a live submission system. No information entered into them is transmitted or stored.
